Zoho SalesIQ - Terms Of Use

ZOHO SALESIQ, A REAL TIME MONITORING AND CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT SERVICE, IS PROVIDED TO YOU OR THE ENTITY THAT YOU REPRESENT (HEREINAFTER “YOU” OR “YOUR”) BY THE APPLICABLE ZOHO ENTITY LISTED HERE (HEREINAFTER “ZOHO”), ACCORDING TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS (HEREINAFTER “TERMS”) IN ADDITION TO ZOHO GENERAL TERMS OF SERVICE. USE OF ZOHO SALESIQ SIGNIFIES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS AND GENERAL TERMS OF SERVICE. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS, DO NOT PROCEED OR USE ZOHO SALESIQ IN ANY MANNER.

Accessing Zoho SalesIQ

Zoho SalesIQ is a part of Zoho’s suite of online collaboration, business and productivity applications. You will be able to access Zoho SalesIQ by using your common account for all Zoho Services (hereinafter “Zoho Account”).

Accessing other Zoho Services

Many Zoho Services are integrated with Zoho SalesIQ. Your Zoho Account will also allow you to access all Zoho Services even if such Zoho Services are not integrated with Zoho SalesIQ. Use of some of these Zoho Services may require acceptance of terms of service specific to such Zoho Services (hereinafter “Service Specific Terms”). You must read, understand and accept the Service Specific Terms before using the corresponding Zoho Service.

Accessing Third Party Services Integrated with Zoho SalesIQ

Many third party services (hereinafter “Third Party Service(s)”) are integrated with Zoho SalesIQ. Zoho will also be integrating more Third Party Services with Zoho SalesIQ. In addition, you may also integrate any other Third Party Service with Zoho SalesIQ by using the API if such Third Party Service allows such integration. Access and use of Third Party Services may require acceptance of terms of service and privacy policy applicable to such Third Party Services (hereinafter “Third Party Terms”). You are responsible for reading and understanding the Third Party Terms before accessing or using any Third Party Service.

Information Collected using Zoho SalesIQ

Using Zoho SalesIQ, you can collect details such as Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, referring URL, files accessed, time zone and operating system of your website visitors. You can use the information collected to maintain quality of your website, improve visitor engagement and for general statistical purposes.

Identification and Tracking of your Website Visitors

Zoho SalesIQ uses first-party cookies to report visitor interactions on your website. These cookies are small text files stored on your visitors’ devices by their browser. These cookies i) allow you to identify your website visitors and ii) collect the visitor details outlined above. Your visitors can change the settings to block cookies or to alert them when cookies are being sent to their devices.

Zoho SalesIQ enables you to identify your website visitors as follows:

  1. When a visitor on your website submits his/her name or email address using the chat functionality in your website.
  2. When a visitor accesses your website using the browser with which such visitor has already logged-in to your website submitting his/her name or email address.
  3. Based on the URL parameters when a visitor accesses your website.

DNT Header

Do Not Track (DNT) is an HTTP header field that enables users to opt out of tracking by websites they have not visited. You understand that Zoho SalesIQ does not honor DNT header because of the fact that it is not approved by w3c standards. However, if your website needs a DNT feature, you can use JS API provided by Zoho SalesIQ to disable website visitor tracking. You can also disable tracking at embed level with Zoho SalesIQ embed configurations.

Zoho SalesIQ Embed Code

Zoho SalesIQ Embed Code is the code that is installed on your website for the purpose of collecting visitor details ("Embed Code"). Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, (a) Zoho grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferrable, non-sub licensable license to install, copy and use the Embed Code solely as necessary for you to use Zoho SalesIQ on your website. You will not (and you will not allow any third party to) (i) copy, modify, adapt, translate or otherwise create derivative works of the Embed Code or the documentation; (ii) reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of the Embed Code, except as expressly permitted by the law in effect in the jurisdiction in which you are located; (iii) rent, lease, sell, assign or otherwise transfer rights in or to the Embed Code and the documentation; (iv) remove any proprietary notices or labels on the Embed Code; or (v) use, post, transmit or introduce any software which interferes or attempts to interfere with the operation of the Embed Code.

Your Privacy Requirements

As part of your use of Zoho SalesIQ, You will have, post and abide by an appropriate Privacy Policy and will comply with all applicable laws, policies, and regulations relating to the collection of information from visitors. The Privacy Policy must provide notice of your use of cookies that are used to collect data. You must not circumvent any privacy features that are part of Zoho SalesIQ.
